Hoogezand-Sappemeer (population: 33,576) is a municipality in the northeastern Netherlands, in the province of Groningen. The municipality covers an area of 73.05 km2 (of which 5.05 km2 water).
The municipality of Hoogezand-Sappemeer consists the following towns, villages and townships: Achterdiep, Borgercompagnie, Borgweg, Foxham, Foxhol, Foxholsterbosch, Hoogezand, Jagerswijk, Kalkwijk, Kiel-Windeweer, Kleinemeer, Kropswolde, Lula, Martenshoek, Meerwijck, Nieuwe Compagnie, Sappemeer, Tripscompagnie, Waterhuizen, Westerbroek, Wolfsbarge.
