Hoogstraten

Hoogstraten is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the city of Hoogstraten proper and the towns of Meer, Meerle, Minderhout and Wortel. On January 1st, 2000 Hoogstraten had a total population of 17,751 (9,074 males and 8,677 females). The total area is 105.24 km² which gives a population density of 168.67 inhabitants per km².
