Hygroscopic

The term Hygroscopic or Hydroscopic is used to refer to substances that absorb water readily from their surroundings.

Biodiesel absorbs water to about 1200 parts per million (PPM). Methanol and NaOH are also hygroscopic. Keep containers closed.
