Intellectual property right infringement
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Infringement means "violation." Intellectual property rights include patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other legal arrangements that give someone the right to restrict other people's use of some idea (or "concept"). Specific kinds of infringement include software piracy, which is one kind of copyright infringement, as is pirating audio or video recordings.
