Itami (伊丹市; -shi) is a city located in Hyogo, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 192,289 and the density of 7,706.97 persons per km². The total area is 24.95 km².
The city was founded on November 10, 1940.
Itami has Osaka International Airport, often called Itami Airport. It was Osaka, Japan's primary airport, but the international flights moved to Kansai International Airport.
