The ITV News Channel is a 24 hour television news channel in the United Kingdom available on Sky Digital, cable and Freeview.
It is operated by ITN on behalf of its shareholders Carlton Television, Granada Television and NTL.
The channel launched as the ITN News Channel in August 2000, adopting its current name in October 2002.
Its main competitors are Sky News and BBC News 24.
