Jeffrey pine
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
A Jeffrey pine resembles a Ponderosa pine, which is found all over the American west; the color, size, number of needles all look like Ponderosa pine. However, the Jeffrey pine can be found in the Sierra Nevada, including Yosemite National Park. One way to distinguish a Jeffrey pine from a Ponderosa pine is to smell the bark of Jeffrey pine, which smells like vanilla.
