Jerky Boys

The Jerky Boys are a comedy troupe whose routine consists of prank calls and other related situations (such as fast food drive-thru speakers). They officially formed in 1992.

Timeline

• Early 1992 - The Jerky Boys were formed in Queens, New York.
• Late 1992 - Made contact with Atlantic Records.
• April 1993 - Jerky Boys was released.
• July 1994 - Jerky Boys 2 was released.
• Early 1995 - Kamal and Johnny B and the band took a break.
• July 1995 - The home video, Don't Hang Up, Tough Guy was released.
• September 1995 - Jerky Boys: The Movie was in theaters and the soundtrack was released.
• Late 1995 - Made contact with Mercury Records and left Atlantic Records and the Jerky Boys returned.
• March 1996 - Jerky Boys: The Movie was released on video.
• August 1996 - Jerky Boys 3 was released.
• October 1997 - Jerky Boys 4 was released.
• Early 1998 - Kamal and Johnny B and the band took another break.
• Late 1998 - The Jerky Boys returned.
• May 1999 - Jerky Boys 5 was released.
• Early 2000 - Kamal and Johnny B and the band took a break again.
• April 2001 - The compilation The Jerky Tapes was released.
• October 2002 - The second compilation The Best Of The Jerky Boys was released.
