Joe Thornton (born July 2 1979, in London, Ontario) is a professional Ice Hockey Center in the NHL, playing for the Boston Bruins.
Thornton has played all of his six seasons for Boston. He was drafted first overall in the 1997 Entry draft for Boston. His best season was 2002-03 when he had 101 points.
