Kaiser Permanente

Kaiser Permanente is the largest non-profit health maintenance organization in the United States. It was founded in 1945 by industrialist Henry J. Kaiser from an organization he created during the second World War in order to care for the 30,000 employees of his Oakland, California shipyards.
