Kosovo Polje

Kosovo Polje (Косово поље) is a town located in the province of Kosovo and Metohia in Serbia and Montenegro at 42.63° North, 21.12° East. Its name means "Field of Blackbirds" in Serbian. In Albanian it is known as is Fushe Koseve. The town is also known in German as Amselfeld - a literal translation of "Field of Blackbirds". In 2003 the city had a total population of 28,600.
