''L'Elisir d'Amore' is a comic opera by Gaetano Donizetti. The libretto was written by Felice Romani, based on Eugène Scribe's Le Philtre It was first performed in Milan in 1832.
L'Elisir d'Amore is part of the standard operatic repertoire. There are a number of recordings of it, and it is regularly performed.
