Learning Perl, also known as the llama book, is a tutorial book for the Perl programming language, and is published by O'Reilly & Associates. The latest is the third edition published in July 2001 and covers Perl 5.6.
Unlike Programming Perl, this book is aimed to novice users. The publisher offers a free sample of Chapter Four [1] as well as complete set of code examples presented in the book. [1]
