A Lexilink is a lexical link. This can be based on:

• Etymology
• Translations from other languages
• Anglicizations and other similar transformations

Lexilinks can be ascribed to:

• Coincidence
• Hoaxes
• Some kind of Conspiracy

Examples:

• Henry Raddick has been linked to Henry Root by the possibility that Raddick is an anglicization of radix - the Latin for root.
