Lisa Marie Simpson is a fictional character on the cartoon television series The Simpsons, voiced by Yeardley Smith.
She is the daughter of Homer and Marge Simpson; Sister of Bart and Maggie.
The brightest kid in town (although this would be disputed by Martin Prince). Her hobbies include playing the saxophone.
Lisa is both a vegetarian and a Buddhist. She is seen by some to whine at times or to have persistent sense of superiority that often grows into self-aggrandizement, and is often quite gullible despite her intelligence.
