The following is a list of some of the larger anime-related conventions in the United States and elsewhere around the world. The list is divided up by location, and each convention includes dates during which it is typically held in parentheses

United States

California

• Anime Expo (Held in Long Beach during Independence Day weekend)
• San Diego Comic Con (Held in San Diego)

Illinois

• Anime Central (Held in Chicago)

Maryland

• Otakon (Held in Baltimore during the last weekend in July)

New York

• Anime Expo New York (Held in New York City during Labor Day weekend)

Ohio

• Ohayocon (in Cleveland, Ohio)

Texas

• Project: A-Kon (Held in Dallas during the first weekend in June)
• AnimeFEST (Held in Dallas during Labor Day weekend)
• Ushicon (Held in Austin during the first weekend in February)
