Malta Island

Malta is the largest island of the Maltese archipelago. It includes the highest point of the archipelago, at 253 m the Ta' Dmejrek, and the Maltese capital, Valletta. The landscape is characterised by low hills with terraced fields. See also the article on the state Malta.
