Maria Figueroa Rodriguez, nee Maria Figueroa is a human character of Sesame Street.

In 1988, Maria and Luis fell in love, which leads eventually to a marriage, in which Big Bird is a ring bearer. This is a twist to the plot, as Maria ends her truly evident crush on David. Maria and Luis lead an active romance on camera, Maria becoming pregnant just months later, and giving birth to baby Gabriella.

Maria is played by actress Sonia Manzano.
