Maxi yachts

Maxi yachts generally refers to the largest group of racing yachts.
The term is proabably applicable to any racing sailboat over 70 feet long.
Perhaps coined in reference to the largest boats in the Whitbread around the world race or the St. Francis Big Boat Series.
