Mesen is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality only comprises the town of Mesen proper. On January 1st, 2000 Mesen had a total population of 964 (496 males and 468 females). The total area is 3.22 km² which gives a population density of 299.38 inhabitants per km².
