Metropolitan Borough of Southwark

The Metropolitan Borough of Southwark was a metropolitan borough in Greater London, created in 1899 with the formation of London County Council. It included the areas

• The Borough
• Elephant and Castle
• Newington
• Walworth

After 1965 it was amalgamated into the London Borough of Southwark with the Metropolitan boroughs of Camberwell and Bermondsey.
