Mohammad Ali Abtahi (محمدعلی ابطحی in Persian) was the Iranian president's Mohammad Khatami's first head of office. He is currently (2004) vice president of legal and parlimentary affairs. He is the first high-ranking government official in Iran to start a weblog.
