Montrose is the name of a district in Houston, Texas.
The district is commonly called Neartown. Montrose is the gay/lesbian community of the city, and it also is dotted with tattoo parlors and stores popular with teenagers. Montrose is a very trendy area of the city. Montrose is the site of the Menil Collection Museum.
