Morehouse College is a private, four-year, liberal arts college for African-American men located on a 61-acre campus in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1867, the college has an enrollment of 3,000 students.

Notable alumni include U.S. Congressmen Sanford D. Bishop Jr, Major R. Owens and Earl F. Dillard, New York Mets outfielder and 1969 World Series MVP Donn Clendenon, actor Samuel L. Jackson, Nobel Peace Prize laureate and civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr, producer-director Spike Lee, Olympian Edwin C. Moses and U.S. surgeon general David Satcher.
