Mr. Bill is the star of a series of claymation shorts shown from 1976 to 1980 on Saturday Night Live. The "Mr. Bill Show" was a parody of children's shows.
The show would start innocently, but would quickly turn dangerous for Mr. Bill. Mr. Bill would suffer various indignities inflicted by Mr. Hand, generally ending with Mr. Bill being dismembered while exclaiming, "Ohhhh Noooooooooooooo...."
In 2004, Mr. Bill, will be part of a campaign aimed at teaching people -- especially children -- how Louisiana about the loss of coastal marshes and swamps. In February of that year, a complete DVD of Mr. Bill was released.
Mr. Bill is the creation of Walter Williams.
