Mushroom Records is an Australian record company. It was formed by Michael Gudinksi in the early 1970s.
After selling half the company to News Corporation in the early 1990s, Gudinski sold the other half in the late 1990s, whereupon Mushroom was merged with News Corporations's record label Festival Records to form Festival Mushroom Records. Gudinski maintained control of most other Mushroom Group companies.
Well known artists signed to Mushroom include Yothu Yindi, Hunters & Collectors and the Models.
