Nawaz Sharif was elected Prime Minister of Pakistan. He was reelected once. His party is the Pakistan Muslim League N (Nawaz group).
He was ousted from power by General Pervez Musharraf in a military coup. He lives with his family in Saudi Arabia, a country to which he was exiled as a compromise with Musharraf.
