Night of the Stormrider

Night of the Stormrider is Iced Earth's second full-length album and it a concept album about a man who is betrayed by religion and turns away from it in anger. The dark forces of nature reach out to this enraged man and use him as their vessel to bring death and destruction to Earth.

Night of the Stormrider contains superior recording quality over the first Iced Earth album, a new vocalist and a new drummer.

Notes

• Along with all albums before The Dark Saga, Iced Earth released and remastered all their previous work in a collectors edition including Night of the Stormrider with improved sound quality and a different album cover.

• Many songs released by Iced Earth before The Dark Saga were remade on the 1997 album Days of Purgatory with a different vocalist, better recording quality and other modifications to the songs.
