Ninety-seven (97, XCVII) is the natural number following ninety-six and preceding ninety-eight. It is the 25th prime number, following eighty-nine and preceding one hundred one.

• The designation of Interstate 97, a freeway in Maryland, the shortest Interstate freeway in the continental United States.
