The Open University of Hong Kong provides sub-degree, degree and postgraduate courses leading to awards and qualifications principally through a system of open access and distance education.
The university is a self-financing, non-profit-making organization. Its main campus is located at Ho Man Tin, in the Kowloon City district of Hong Kong. Additionally, the university has since the autumn of 2000, an Island Learning Centre in Sheung Wan, on Hong Kong Island.
