Operation Mountain Resolve

Launched by a U.S-led coaliton, November 7, 2003, Operation Mountain Resolve took place in Nuristan province and Kunar province. It involved an airdrop into the Hindu Kush mountains by the U.S. 10th Mountain Division and resulted in the killing of Hezbi commander Ghulam Sakhee, a few clashes, and the finding of some minor weapon caches.
