Operation Slipper

During the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan Operation Slipper was the Australian naval contribution to the U.S.-led operations against Afghanistan in late 2001. In October 2001 the Australian Navy sent four major ships into the region to operate with American, British and Canadian ships.
