The Oriental Pearl Tower is located in the Pudong district of Shanghai, People's Republic of China. It was completed in 1995 and is 468m high.
The tower features 5 spheres. The lower sphere has a diameter of 50 m. An antenna extends 118 m above the building and transmits TV and radio programs.
The Pearl Tower attracts three million visitors each year.
It belongs to the World Federation of Great Towers.
