An oven is an enclosed compartment for heating, baking or dying. It is most commonly used in cooking and pottery.
In cooking, the conventional oven is a common kitchen appliance and is used for baking, broiling, roasting and heating food. Food normally cooked in this manner includes meat, cassaroles and baked goods such as bread, cake and other desserts.
A kiln is another type of oven, often used for firing clay to harden it for pottery. Kilns are sometimes used for cremation.Cooking
