Øvre Eiker

The municipality Øvre Eiker (Upper Eiker) in the county of Buskerud, Norway, has 15,161 inhabitants as of January 1, 2002.

Together with neighboring Nedre Eiker, the Eiker area is an agricultural landscape with a long history. The area was first inhabitated around 8000 BC.
