Panic Room is a 2002 drama film about a family who is threatened by a break and enter into their home. They try to evade the people who break in by hiding within their Panic room. The film stars Jodie Foster, Dwight Yoakam, Forest Whitaker and Jared Leto. It is directed by David Fincher and written by David Koepp. Nicole Kidman was originally to star in the role by Jodie Foster, but had to back out due to an injury she sustained during the filming of Moulin Rouge. However, she did add her voice to the movie as the girlfriend speaking to the character Steven Altman.
