Pelléas et Mélisande is an opera by Claude Debussy. The libretto was written Maurice Maeterlinck. It was first performed in Paris in 1902.
Pelléas et Mélisande is part of the standard operatic repertoire. There are a number of recordings of it and it is regularly performed.
