The People's Party (Spanish: Partido Popular) is a large conservative political party in Spain.
It has been the governing party since 1996, and supplies Prime Minister José María Aznar. In the Cortes, it has a small majority with 183 out of 350 deputies, and 127 out of 248 senators.
In the European Parliament it sits with the European People's Party, and has 28 MEPs.
