A Personal information manager is a software application that keeps track of personal information such as:

  • E-mails
  • Address books
  • Calendars
  • Task lists
  • Task scheduling (invitations etc)
  • Notices

There are several software packages that does this. Some can also synchronize the required information with a personal digital assistant (PDA), such as a Palm Pilot or similar.
