Piteå

Piteå (or Pite in the local dialect) is a Municipality in Norrbotten County, in northern Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 3085.9 km². Of the total population of 40363, 20161 are male, and 20202 are female. The population density of the community is 13 inhabitants per km².
