New Features
Currently, the games are in that period of discovery, where players are still finding out what all the new things in the games are. Currently known about the games include:
- They are remakes of the original Japanese Pokémon games, Red and Blue.
- They feature the original 150 Pokemon, most of which were not found in the GameBoy Advance games, Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.
- Also featured are brand new “islands” called Rainbow Islands, which are initially unlocked by doing certain things within the games.
- On these new islands, Pokémon that can’t be found in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire or within the normal run of the game are findable. This is including the Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Silver, Gold, and Crystal, which includes (but isn’t limited to) all 28 variations of Unown.
- There is a godly number of Legendary, Rare, and Unique Pokémon that can found in this game, thanks mostly to the Rainbow Islands. Pokémon that are included are Ho-Oh & Lugia, The Legendary Birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, Mewtwo, The Legendary Beasts Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, and last but not least, Deoxys. It is also rumored that Mew is also obtainable through these games.
