Founded in 1916, the Professional Golfers Association of America is headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, United States and claims to be the largest working sports organization in the world with more than 27, 000 members. The association conducts 40 tournaments for its member Professionals each year including four premier golf events: The PGA Grand Slam of Golf is a match exclusively for the winners of golf's four major championships: NOTE: The PGA of America DOES NOT run the U.S. professional tour. It is run by a completely separate organization known as the PGA TOUR (properly rendered in all caps).
