Reflexology is the practice of stimulating points on the foot, hand or ear, in the belief that they correspond to healing different parts of the human anatomy. Early Indian,Chinese and Egyptian people was the first group of the people to practice it. It is said that reflexology was originated from ancient Egypt.
It is a widespread practice in Asia, where foot reflexology (also known as foot massage) is quite popular. Though there is still skepticism about the science of the practice, it is often undertaken simply as relaxing massage therapy.
Since the living standard in Hong Kong is high, more and more people become aware of the importance of health. Besides, with the intense promotions on the healthy lifestyle products, those high income workforce are willing to spend on buying these products. Therefore, the sale of foot reflexology rollers is increasing rapidly in the recent years.
