Established April 1, 2003, Renesas Technology Corp. is a joint venture of Hitachi Ltd (55%) and Mitsubishi Electric Corp (45%), formed with the purpose of conducting development, design, manufacture, sales and servicing of system LSIs, including

• microcomputers/microcontrollers
• logic
• analog devices

as well as discrete devices, and memory products, including

• flash memory
• SRAM
