Rob Waddell, surnamed V-12, (born 7 January 1975) won the World Championships in rowing in 1998 and 1999 and a gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
He started rowing at King's College, Auckland. He later joined Team New Zealand for the America's Cup 2003.
