Roberto Luongo (born April 4 1979, in Montreal, Quebec) is a professional Ice Hockey Goaltender in the NHL, playing for the Florida Panthers.
Luongo has played his last 3 seasons for Florida, and has also played for the New York Islanders. He was drafted in 1997 by New York, and many were shocked when Islanders manager Mike Milbury traded him to Florida. His goals against average and wins are far from sepctacular, but he faces more shots than lamost any other goalie and has a high save percentage.
