Rumina
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

In Roman mythology, Rumina was a goddess who protected mothers and infants who were nursing, human and animal.

Her temple was near the Ficus Ruminales, the fig tree on the Palatine Hill where Romulus and Remus were raised by the wolf. In AD 58, this tree started to die--this was interpreted as a bad omen.
