From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Rush hour refers to the different times in a day when people are driving to or from work. The name itself is a misnomer - it is usually not confined to single hour. Typically, rush hour lasts from 7:30-10 AM and 4-6 PM, local time. During that time, roads tend to be most congested.
Rush Hour was also the name of a 1998 movie starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. See Rush Hour (movie).
