Saku Koivu

Saku Koivu is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who plays for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League. He is currently the team captain. In the 2001-2002 season he was diagnosed with cancer and missed almost the entire season. He returned for the play-offs and along with José Theodore lead the Canadiens to an unlikely upset of the number one ranked Boston Bruins.
