Sebadoh are an indie-rock band formed by former Dinosaur Jr member Lou Barlow. It began as a side project, but when he was kicked out of Dinosaur Jr in 1989, Sebadoh became his full-time concern.
Many great albums have been made by Sebadoh in their time, including The Sebadoh. Classic songs include Skull and Flame.
Sebadoh's founding members were Lou Barlow, Eric Gaffney, and Jason Lowenstein. Eric Gaffney later left the band, to be replaced by Bob Fay.
This band is seen as very infuential, while not gaining a lot of commercial success. Bands who claim Sebadoh as an influence are Jimmy Eat World and The Vines.
